The same subject, a different silence. Where Sneaker I pressed close, Sneaker II shifts the gaze — softer folds, more open atmosphere, the object even further from itself. Paint that moves like fabric. A shape caught between recognition and abstraction.

Ntourakos returns to the sneaker not to repeat, but to look again. Each painting in the series is a separate act of stillness — the city slowed down, one canvas at a time.
