Handmade Bruges lace basket

Sourced directly from The Antwerp Lace Shop — the last lace shop in the city, closing after more than three generations of a family dedicated to the craft of lace. This basket is handmade using the Bruges lace technique, a skill practiced by only a handful of artisans left in Europe.

We sourced a small selection before the doors close for good. Once these are gone, there are no more.

Each basket features a drawstring that brings it to life: pull it tight and the piece transforms into a three-dimensional object, ready to be presented with whatever filling you choose.
